Tasty Recipes!!

Well you lucky "Stampin' Divas" club got to try these at your club last week and Cyndi promised her recipe so here it is along with her St. Patty's Punch.
Cyndi always comes up with new things and haven't had something I didn't like yet. Thanks for the recipe Cyndi.

Pinwheels

1 8oz pkg cream cheese softened
Mayo (just enough to make spreading the cream cheese easier)
Dill to taste (we like a lot of dill)
Dill pickles thinly sliced
Ham thinly sliced
1 pkg of flour tortilla

Mix cream cheese, dill and mayo until a spreadable.
Spread layer onto a flour tortilla. Cover the tortilla with one layer of ham, excluding top portion of tortilla. Place one layer of pickles in middle third of the tortilla. Fold bottom section of tortilla over pickles and roll the remaining tortilla using the exposed cream cheese on the top section to help seal the roll. Slice roll. If you have kids helping (husbands observing) they'll love eating the end pieces!

St. Patty's drink

1 half gallon lime sherbet ice cream
40 oz can of pineapple juice
2 liter ginger ale

Place scoop of lime sherbet in a glass, fill glass with a combination of pineapple juice and ginger ale. Serve with a spoon and straw. (Can also be made in a punch bowl) Lime or lemon juice can also be added.

Here's another wonderful recipe shared by Anita from the "Crazy Crafters" club. Everyone loved these brownies and some have already made them for their own events. Thanks for sharing your recipe Anita.

Fudge Brownies

1 c. butter
2.c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. of flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. oatmeal.

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix well. Add flour, salt and baking soda. Mix. Add oatmeal and mix. Save 1/4 of mixture for top. Put rest of mixture in bottom of 18x 15 inch pan or 2 (9x13-inch) pans

FILLING
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 (14 oz) Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 vanilla

Put ingredients in top of double boiler. Heat and stir until melted. Spread filling in thin layer over crust and sprinkle top with reserved oatmeal mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Also I use semi-sweet chocolate chips. I have used the milk chocolate before and they are way to sweet.

Please bring me your entry by March 10th so that I will have them to display for all clubs. Everyone attending club will be asked to vote for their favorite. Winner will announced here on March 14th!! Good Luck!

For Club Members!!

I hope you can join me next week as we will be making this little Easter album in a tin! I know we were supposed to make a card using a Sale-Bration stamp set but isn't this cuter!!? I thought I could show this next month but alas Easter has really snuck up on me quick this year and I HAD to use my "A Good Egg" stamp set!!
I really hope you can make it!

You'll personalize the inside cover for special little "Easter Bunny" or family name.

Inside we will create this Easter scene for you to add your Easter pictures too.

Easter eggs are made from the small oval punch.

Last pages.. you'll find this cute little "dazzling" chick!

As promised...at next weeks club.

We will also be decorating these little jars with the Sale-a-bration rub ons! If you haven't tried these yet you won't want to miss out. The quality of these is outstanding to some others I have tried before and you can receive 4 sheets of these for free for spending $50.00 during Sale-a- Bration which ends March 17th!!

I will also have other Sale-a-Brations card samples for you to look at!

Top o' the morning to ya lassies!

Need a cute St. Patrick's Day card but don't have a stamp set? All you need is a few of your SU punches to create "Paddy" here. Small tag punch, large oval, 1 3/8 circle, scallop circle and 1/2 inch circle are what you will need. You can find Jodie Vasbinder's directions here!

Happy Easter!

This little bunny card is made with punches too! Head is 1 3/8 inch circle. Ears are large and small oval punches. The nose is a 1/4 inch circle and the cheeks are 1/2 inch circles. A small rectangle for his teeth and I used oval wiggly eyes to finish him off.
